Media facades: dynamic facade design
Media facades are a smart example of a facade design that we put together from individual dots, long strings, mesh structures or slats with one or more LEDs depending on the surface.
We achieve two goals simultaneously that would otherwise be difficult to combine by using media facades in a well-considered manner: highlighting the architecture of a building and conveying moods and messages.
A media facade has a few advantages when compared to a traditional led display:
- It can cover large surfaces (up to the entire architecture)
- The view of the outside is not blocked
- You can highlight the architecture of a building instead of having it ignored
