Customer vision

The new owner of the building found the vintage look very attractive, but also wanted to combine the architecture with every modern elements at the same time. They, moreover, wanted dynamic communication with the public space.



Our realisation

In total, no fewer than 7500 Philips individually drivable iColor Flex LMX LED pixels were installed. The decision was taken during the design phase to install the LED pixels in-between the corrugation of the existing steel sheet piling. In addition, we had to limit the drill holes to a minimum to protect the existing facade.

The solution was ultimately found in a specially designed bracket and profile in which the LED pixels could be installed “blind”.


The result

At a sight distance, the huge LED facade is a media display that expresses both the modernity of the architecture and conveys the media and messages to passers-by.
